There is currently no treatment that can cure or completely eliminate HPV from the body. Only the infected part is removed. Surgical removal of the HPV-infected part has not been able to stop the spread of the disease. It also found that patients can recur the disease again. However, 70% of HPV-infected patients recover spontaneously in the first year and nearly 90% in the following year.
