  • Diarrhea: Caused by bacteria and viruses that come with contaminated food and drinks. Symptoms include mild fever, cold, nausea, and watery stools.
  • Heatstroke: Due to extremely hot weather, the body temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius, leading to symptoms such as overheating, sweating, headache, dizziness, and some may even go into shock and lose consciousness.
  • Food Poisoning: Caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Symptoms include low-grade fever, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In severe cases, there may be blood in the stool.
  • Dengue Fever: Transmitted by mosquitoes, as Thailand's climate is quite hot and humid, some areas may experience rainfall and stagnant water in various containers, which become breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Symptoms include sudden high fever, body aches, and red spots on the body.

      To prevent these diseases in hot weather, we should eat freshly cooked food, avoid consuming food exposed to flies, store leftovers in the refrigerator or reheat them before eating, use serving spoons when sharing food, wash hands before eating and after using the restroom, and lastly, drink clean water such as bottled water with the FDA label or boiled water.
